A Poem for Ezra
A Poem for Ezra
I haven't forgotten
The poem I promised
Remember
We couldn't sleep
So we read poems instead
Strangers
Finding connection
In the rhythm of workds
Words like foam
On ocean waves
Moving by divine right
Bursting in their own sweet time
Like strangers
Thrown together
Submitting to a fate
Planned at the beginning of time
We met for some reason
Time will tell
