Stillness
Stillness
I didn't expect to see you
I thought I had the morning to myself
The harbor silent; boats just paintings on the horizon
I saw you wandering across the meadow, near the marshlands
You were exquisite; breathtaking
I though you were lost
But that was projection
I was the one bewildered, not sure why I was here
But you made me remember
Getting lost can be a gift to take a deep breath
And observe, you...
One graceful deer staring back at me
Her eyes saying "Be Still"
